What is ADOPT 2.0?
ADOPT 2.0 is a Kansas digital equity program designed to reduce barriers to internet access by providing devices, digital literacy support, and practical training for work, education, healthcare, and everyday life.
Built and run by The Vernon Center for our Wyandotte County neighbors, the program runs through September 2026 and is open to residents who lack reliable access to a usable device. Approved participants receive a tablet or laptop at no cost, plus the workshops and one-on-one help they need to actually use it day to day.
